ARA Features Unique to Release Engineer

Agentless Software Deployments at Scale

Accelerated Deployments without the overhead of agents

Release Engineer's agentless technology can scale to thousands of endpoints supporting physical, virtual, or container architectures. Agentless software deployments are critical in the reduction of your operational overhead and the fast implementation of new applications. With the use of SSH/SSL to connect and administer the data center infrastructure, no firewall changes are required.

To speed up the agentless deployment process, Release Engineer performs pre-possessing on the Release Engineer Server in what is called a 'drop zone' prior to distributing to endpoints. This pre-processing eliminates time consuming, redundant work found with agent based delivery tools. Customers frequently experience very rapid decrease in release times reducing a release process from 3+ hours to under a minute.

In addition, Release Engineer can be called by your Jenkins continuous integration workflow allowing you to drive the Continuous Delivery process with Jenkins, without using a Jenkins slave on every test and production endpoint.
