Workflow Selection
Workflows are saved to the Knowledgebase Server each time a User exits the ISPF Setup Build Panel. Worklfows are saved via the ISPF panel can be viewed by selecting the “Execute Workflow” menu option from the Web Client Main Menu. All Workflows are saved using the ISPF are saved as private Workflows and are listed under “MyWorkflows”.
To execute a Mainframe Workflow, highlight the Workflow from the selection list and click on the “Execute” button. You will be prompted for your Mainframe Logon ID and Password. Once you have entered your Mainframe user information, the Workflow will be submitted to Mainframe JES. A “Smart Log” will be displayed showing you the results as they are reported to the Knowledgebase Server. In addition, the results will be saved and available under “View Reports”. From the “View Reports” menu option, “Workflows” are displayed and are organized based on the Workflow name and time frame that the Workflow was executed. Workflows from “Today” are listed under “Today.” Older Workflow are listed according to the time frame that they were submitted.
