Meister Quickstart Package
For most organizations using development IDEs, such as Microsoft .NET, IBM RAD, Borland or Eclipse, the Quick Start program takes about 2 weeks. Quick Starts are customized for your unique environment but normally include planning, installation, pilot implementation and a verification/acceptance phase. Our build experts can help you navigate through what otherwise may seem confusing. Mojo Quickstart Package
Build and Release processes automation streamlines the activities, using workflow technology, around diverse application life cycle tools and processes. Our OpenMake Mojo Quick Start is designed to assist you with identifying the steps within your workflow automation process to support different teams and requirements. If you are using Mojo Professional or Enterprise, the Quick Start package includes how to implement your life cycle process across multiple machines for faster overall workflow processing.
Sample Quick Start Deliverables
The Quick Start packages provides the foundation for a solid installation of OpenMake Meister or Mojo. These consulting package involves one day of planning activities and 4 to 9 days of pilot rollout. During planning, build machines are identified, tool support and developer's work habits are discussed. The use of OpenMake Meister or Mojo is reviewed from both a centralized build use and an individual developer use to determine the best method for implementing your unique build process. Activities during these initial five days include:

Review the strategy to achieve new build management to release management procedures.
- Identify and examine the existing application software inventory.
- Identify a subset of binary modules to build during the pilot phase.
- Review issues relating to the current build management process.
- Install the Openmake Software on a central server.
- Identify Openmake Remote Agents and use.
If implementing Meister, the pilot rollout portion of the Planning and Implementation package involves building a subset of binaries identified during the planning phase. A selected pilot application is used to define the Build Methods, build rules and Dependency Directory for building a subset of the applications. This phase includes:

Install OpenMake Meister on defined client machines.
- Test the OpenMake Meister installation on build machines and workstations.
- Review the existing Build Service compile flags and update as needed.
- Create Target files for binaries to be built.
- Build the selected Targets.
- Provide knowledge transfer to the Meister Administrator.
