Remote Build Servers support the ability to execute distributed builds, multi-platform builds, multi-language builds, parallel builds and dedicated builds. A Remote Build Server allows you to execute workflows on a machine other than the one you are working from. Remote Build Servers are defined to a Workflow, or at the Workflow "activity" level, using the Workflow Editor. Remote Build Servers allows you to define a workflow process that can improve build speeds by distributing tasks, perform cross platform build executions or define a particular machine where builds are executed by all developers.
Remote Build Servers are upgrades to your standard installation. If you are using OpenMake Meister to power your builds, a single Remote Build Server is available as part of the installation process.
