Installing Meister as an Eclipse Plug-in

 

Meister can be run inside of Eclipse Based IDEs providing a seamless interface between Meister and the IDE.  All of Meister’s abilities are available to the IDE when Meister is installed as an Eclipse Plug-in. 

 

The following components must be installed and configured on your workstation prior to the installation of the Eclipse Plug-In:

 

      IBM Rational Application Developer 7.0

      Eclipse 3.1, 3.2

 

 

You can install the Meister as an Eclipse Plug-in by using the Eclipse Software Update Manager.

Choose Search for new features to install

Select the Next button

Select the New Remote Site button

Enter Openmake Software for the name and http://www.openmakesoftware.com/downloads/update_site_7.0 for the URL

Select OK

Make sure Openmake Software is checked and then select the Finish button

Expand the Openmake Software and select Meister

Select “I accept the terms in the license agreement”
