The Eclipse Target Generation Plug-in will generate Meister Target files from the Project files. This will automate the builds inside or outside of the Eclipse based IDEs without having to create a Meister Target using the Meister interface. You will want to use this Plug-in if you are an IBM Rational Application Developer or Eclipse developer. The following components must be installed and configured on your workstation prior to the installation of the Eclipse Plug-In:
• Meister Command Line programs, om and bldmake
• IBM WebSphere Application Developer 5.1
• IBM Rational Application Developer 6.x, 7.0
• Eclipse 2.1 – 3.2
You can install the Target Generation Plug-in for Eclipse by using the Eclipse Software Update Manager.
