You can execute Builds and Workflows as well as view Reports and Logs using the Management Control Console feature. The Console is useful for individuals who do not need to manage build details, but simply want to execute Workflows and view the results. Unlike the Client, which is an Eclipse Rich Client Platform application, the Management Control Console is a URL that can be accessed by all users.
Access the Management Control Console by going to the Windows "Start Programs" under "OpenMake 7", or type the following into your URL:
http://[KB Server Name]:[KB Server Port]/openmake/reports/index.html?userid=[your user id]
For example:
http://winkb:58080/openmake/reports/index.html?userid=JDoe
Note: If you have not already logged into the Meister GUI, pass your network ID as the User ID. Meister validates users based on your network User ID. Any reports that are listed as "Private" will be empty as you have not yet executed any Private Workflows. If you do not pass a User ID, you will only be displayed Public Reports and Logs.
This URL can be used to place the reports into an existing Intranet Portal web site. In addition, the reports can be accessed without the requirement of installing any software locally except for the Java Run-Time Plug-in for the web browser. The versions of the supported JRE are listed in the pre-requisite section of the Install Guide.
