SUBJECT: Setup for the Meister add-in to .NET 2005
I'm trying to test the Meister add-in for .NET 2005, but have not had any luck.
Visual Studio .NET 2005 was already previously loaded on my machine and OpenMake had originally been loaded under openmake6 in the Program Files directory.
I uninstalled the original OpenMake and loaded Meister from the zip to c:\Program Files\openmake. Then I ran Meister to complete the setup. Meister is currently operating without problem.
Then I turned to testing the .NET 2005 add-in. When I launch .NET 2005 for a project that now builds under Meister, I select
Build from the menu bar, but I see
OpenMake, not
Meister as the
User’s Guide states.
Then, I click on
OpenMake and a new selection box pops up with the following choices:
- Configure OpenMake
- Create TGTs
- Build solution with OpenMake
- Build project with OpenMake
- Launch OpenMake Meister
Clicking on any of these choices produces no activity. The menu drop-downs go away and nothing happens.
In the
Add-in Manager under
Tools, both the
Startup and
Command Line check boxes have been checked to activate the
OpenMake Add-in.
I haven't found anything in any logs to provide any clues about what's happening and not happening. Nothing ever displays in the output log, so I'm at a loss.
Where do I start looking?
Thanks.
