The board doesn't like the angle brackets enclosing that last line taken from the OpenmakeAddin.Addin. It's just a comment tag in the _xml_ file (left angle bracket - apostrophe - 2 dashes.) Immediately above the excerpt is the close tag for Host Application for version 8.0 and immediately following this line is the beginning tag for Host Application for version 9.0.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

I have checked the OpenmakeAddin.Addin file and it is in the right place.

Since the file is in _xml_ format, I've been unable to post any excerpts here without stripping out the tag brackets, but I haven't seen any cause for question aside from the addin identification with version 9.0 of Visual Studio rather than version 8.0.

All that I've seen in the vs2005_addin.log are 27 lines like the following excerpt where 3 lines include the Main reference and the rest are like the first line (only the time stamps differ):

  • 2008-01-24 08:06:50,207 [1] DEBUG OpenmakeAddin3.Connect - OnDisconnection: start

  • 2008-01-24 08:27:11,490 [Main] DEBUG OpenmakeAddin3.Connect - OnDisconnection: start

The behavior continues to be the same, clicking any of the menu selections under Build...Openmake... produces no results. No errors are generated and no output is given in the output log.

Please advise. Any leads are appreciated.
