I have OpenMake 6.4.1 build 101506 as KB Server
I have installed a Remote Build Server on different machine and I get two files from Licensing Department.

For my KB Server I received a license.kb file and a kbserver._xml_ file
For my remote Build Server I have received another license.kb file and a remotebuild._xml_

In my view the procedure which is not detailed in Installation Guide it should be

1.- Copy a license.kb on
\webappsopenmake.earOpenmake.warlicense
2.- Copy both _xml_ in the KB SERVER directory
openmake6tomcatwebappsopenmake.earopenmake.warkb

3.- I do not know what to do with the other licnese.kb
Any one have any idea about this procedure.

Regarding your point number 2: The "_xml_" files for your Remote Build Servers actually go into the "build machines" subdirectory under \openmake6\tomcat\webapps\openmake.ear\openmake.war\kb.

A couple of suggestions for your license file question:

• Check your license files to see if the first of them contains any identification as a DEMO license.


• If neither is a DEMO license, compare the line for machine to confirm your Remote Build Server is correctly identified.

I have a problem with the license and I could mot test the license.
But I have a aswccs44._xml_ file in the directory

D:openmake6_4_1tomcatwebappsopenmake.earopenmake.warkbbuild machines

When I have a right license and test with the Build Server Machine I let you know.
