Builder makes .mak and .tgt but no build 7 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0&nbsp&nbsp
So, I am running Builder to compile java code and get no errors. Builder 6.3.1 creates the .mak files for java and Windows but does not actually create the build or compile the java.

Here is the log:

In the log it says "All targets are up to date." This means that somewhere in the search path, the myclientwebsite.javac target file exists.

I'm guessing you are running om without the "-a" or "clean all" flags. This will cause om to do an incremental build, which means that it will make an anlysis of the date/time stamp of the target file(s) (e.g. myclientwebsite.javac) and dependency files (most likely .java source files). Unless the dependency files have a newer date/time stamp than the target file, om will not rebuild the target file in an incremental build, since the date/time stamp is telling om that the target has been built since the source files were last updated.

To force om to (re)build in this situation, you should pass the "-a" or "clean all" flags to om. Either flag should do the trick, though they have slightly different behavior. You can see the Builder Development Guide for more information on what each of these flags does.

Let me know if this info was helpful ...

Thanks Quinn. I tried using the clean all and again the -a (separate attempts) with the same result. I even renamed the tgt not to include the javac, but again only the java.mak, windows.mak, and myclientwebsite.tgt files are created - nothing else. Any other suggestions? It must be something simple that I am just overlooking...here is the most recent log

When you run om add the -pd flag. This will tell om to print out the dependency checking to stdout. Please post the stdout.
