This automation provides you with the reusable build framework needed to consolidate your hundreds of scripts down to just a few.  Below is an example of a Build Service and a Build Method used  for creating Java Jars.  Notice that you can call Ant Tasks in the same way as you would through manual coding.  The difference is with Build Services and Methods, the build.xml file is automatically created based on your IDE project file.  Nothing is left to chance - everything is up to date, even when you refactor!
